What Caucasian and European egg donors does Donor Nexus have available?

Our database holds more than 500 donor profiles across all ethnicities, and Caucasian donors make up one of the largest groups. Many have mixed European heritage, and you can find donors of Irish, Italian, German, French, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Dutch, Norwegian and many other European backgrounds. Availability changes as new donors join and matches are made, so the egg donor database is the most accurate place to see who is currently available, or your case manager can run the search for you. Donors choose their own ethnicity and describe their heritage in their own words, so our Caucasian donors come from a range of backgrounds that reach beyond Europe, and the heritage listed on each profile is the clearest guide to a donor's family roots.

Each detailed egg donor profile lists the donor's maternal and paternal heritage, her education, the languages she speaks, and whether she offers non-identified, identified, or Open ID donation, and our donor egg programs overview compares fresh and frozen side by side.

How do I search for a specific European heritage?

Open More filters in the egg donor database and type the heritage into the Heritage box. Donors describe their background in their own words, so check every spelling that appears, such as Italian and Italy or Irish and Ireland. You can check several heritages in the same search, and a donor who lists more than one will appear under each of them. We also have dedicated pages with search tips for Italian, Irish, Dutch, Scandinavian and Russian egg donors.

Can I choose a Caucasian donor by eye or hair color?

Yes. Alongside ethnicity and heritage, the database has filters for natural hair color and eye color, so you can narrow your search to a blonde donor with blue or green eyes, for example, or a brunette with brown eyes. Each profile also lists height and education, so you can compare donors side by side before you register for a match.

How does matching with a Caucasian donor work?

Fresh Matching Program

In a fresh cycle you are matched one-to-one with a donor, she travels to your IVF clinic for monitoring and retrieval, and you receive every viable egg from that retrieval. Donor Nexus fresh cycles average 28.9 eggs retrieved and 22.6 mature eggs. Many families choose fresh when they hope to create enough embryos for a future sibling. A fresh cycle usually takes four to six months from match to retrieval, with most of that time spent on donor screening.

Frozen Egg Bank

Frozen Caucasian donor eggs are available in cohorts of six and can be shipped to your clinic anywhere in the United States. Eggs are retrieved, vitrified, and stored at a single Southern California site and shipped once, directly to your clinic. Frozen eggs usually reach your clinic within four to six weeks of paperwork and payment, and each cohort comes with the blastocyst guarantee described on the Frozen Egg Bank page.

Are your European egg donors located in Europe?

When we describe donors as European, we mean donors of European heritage, not donors recruited through clinics or egg banks based in Europe. Our Caucasian donors live in different parts of the United States and abroad, and the location is shown on each profile. The donor's location doesn't limit your options. Fresh donors travel to your clinic wherever they live, with travel and logistics arranged by our team and included in the program fee, and frozen eggs ship directly to clinics throughout the United States. International shipping and donor travel are now limited by regulations in many countries, so most of our international intended parents choose to travel to a U.S. clinic for treatment, and our team can help coordinate that process.
