How to find Russian egg donors in the database

Every donor profile records her maternal and paternal heritage, and donors describe it in their own words. To see every Russian donor, open More filters in the egg donor database, type russ in the Heritage box, and check Russian, leaving unrelated options such as Prussian unchecked. If you are also open to related Eastern European backgrounds, you can check Ukrainian or other options in the same search. Ukrainian appears under two spellings, Ukrainian and Ukranian, so check both. Many donors list more than one heritage, so a donor who is part Russian and part Ukrainian or Polish will appear in each of those searches.

Each detailed egg donor profile lists the donor's heritage on both sides, the languages she speaks, her education, and whether she offers non-identified, identified, or Open ID donation, and our donor egg programs overview compares fresh and frozen side by side.

What Russian egg donors are in the database?

At the time of writing in October 2026, 17 donors in the Fresh Matching Program and six in the Frozen Egg Bank list Russian heritage. Several list Russian on both sides of the family, and others pair it with Ukrainian, Polish, German, Lithuanian or Latvian heritage, or with Irish or Norwegian heritage on the other side. Blonde is the most common hair color among the fresh donors, and most have blue or green eyes.

How does matching with a Russian donor work?

You can match one-to-one with a Russian donor through the Fresh Matching Program, where she travels to your IVF clinic and you receive every viable egg from her retrieval, or choose a cohort of frozen eggs from the Frozen Egg Bank and have it shipped to your clinic. Donors of Russian heritage are listed in both programs at the time of writing, so you can run the same Heritage search in each one, and our donor egg programs overview sets out the timelines, what each program includes and the donation types side by side.

Where are our Russian egg donors located?

At the time of writing, fresh donors of Russian heritage are based in California, Texas, Florida, Maryland, Utah and South Dakota, and a few live abroad, in London, Austria and São Paulo. Each profile shows where the donor lives, and her location doesn't limit your options, because fresh donors travel to your clinic with travel arranged by our team and included in the program fee, and frozen eggs ship to clinics throughout the United States.

Frequently Asked Questions

Register for free at Donor Nexus and open the egg donor database. Click More filters, type russ in the Heritage box, check Russian, then click Search. Each profile lists the donor's maternal and paternal heritage, and the filter works across both the Fresh Matching Program and the Frozen Egg Bank. If you would rather not search yourself, a case manager can review your criteria and send matching profiles.

Yes. The Heritage filter lets you check more than one option in the same search, so you can check Russian along with Ukrainian or other Eastern European heritages. Donors describe their heritage in their own words, so Ukrainian appears under two spellings, Ukrainian and Ukranian, and checking both catches every profile.

Yes. After you run your search with Russian checked, click Save this search at the top right of the database, and the search is named and saved for you automatically. We email you when a new donor who matches your search is added, so you can review her profile right away. Saved searches work in both the egg donor database and the embryo bank.

Yes to both. Donors in the Fresh Matching Program travel to your fertility clinic for the cycle and retrieval, and our team arranges the travel and logistics, which are included in the program fee. Through the Frozen Egg Bank, frozen donor eggs ship directly to IVF clinics throughout the United States. Because international shipping and donor travel are now limited by regulations in many countries, most of our international intended parents choose to complete treatment at a U.S. clinic, and our team can help coordinate that process.

The Heritage box matches any option that contains the letters you type, so russ brings up both Russian and Prussian. Prussian is a separate heritage from the former German state of Prussia, so check Russian only, unless Prussian heritage is also part of what you are looking for.

Yes. Most fresh donors of Russian heritage are based in the United States, and at the time of writing a few live abroad, in London, Austria and São Paulo. Donors in the Fresh Matching Program travel to your U.S. clinic for the cycle, with travel arranged by our team and included in the program fee, and the location is shown on each profile.
