Frozen Egg Bank
The Donor Nexus Frozen Egg Bank provides cohorts of frozen donor eggs from thoroughly screened donors, shipped directly to your fertility clinic. Faster timelines, no cycle syncing, and eggs ready when you are.
Cohort of 6 Frozen Donor Eggs: $19,500 to $29,500 USD
Pricing can vary based on the donor’s compensation preferences, experience, and the number of eggs available in her cohort. We provide a clear, upfront estimate before you move forward so you know exactly what’s included.
Blastocyst Embryo Guarantee
We guarantee at least 1 blastocyst embryo by day 7, suitable for transfer, freezing, or biopsy, per cohort of 6 eggs. If the guarantee is not met and the semen analysis criteria are satisfied, you may be eligible for one replacement cohort.
The guarantee does not include a genetically normal embryo. A normal semen analysis (greater than 1 million total progressively motile sperm) confirmed by the IVF clinic is required for replacement eligibility.
If your selected donor does not have additional frozen eggs available, you may need to choose another donor for the replacement. Eligibility for a replacement cohort is confirmed after the IVF clinic provides a Warming and Outcome Report, supporting documentation, and confirmation of normal semen analysis.
My Dream Come True
“They were flexible to my unique needs with the open relationship I wanted with my donor (frozen eggs), which is rare to find these days! Thanks to their dedication and expertise, I am now the proud parent of a beautiful baby, my miracle, whom I love beyond words. Donor Nexus played a crucial role in making my dream of having a family come true after a very long journey with infertility.” — V.N., Intended Parent
What Sets Our Frozen Egg Bank Apart
Only Mature, Verified-Quality Eggs
Our egg bank only stores mature eggs that meet strict quality standards. Eggs are retrieved, vitrified, and stored at the same site, so they are transported only once: when they ship to your clinic. That single-transport approach helps preserve egg integrity.
Success Rates
Our Frozen Egg Bank offers pre-screened egg lots ready to ship worldwide. The following metrics reflect outcomes from the moment frozen eggs arrive at the recipient clinic through the creation of blastocyst embryos. Data reflects 2012-2025.
Egg Thaw and Fertilization
Egg Survival Rate After Thaw (of all eggs thawed): 90.7%
Fertilization Rate of Survived Eggs (ICSI fertilization): 83.1%
Blastocyst Embryo Development
The percentages below reflect what patients experienced after a standard lot of frozen eggs was thawed, fertilized, and cultured to the blastocyst stage.
Patients Who Obtained 1+ Blastocyst (at least one viable embryo): 81.1%
Patients Who Obtained 2+ Blastocysts (two or more embryos for transfer/storage): 60.5%
About These Statistics
Frozen Egg Bank outcome tracking focuses on the embryo creation phase. Once embryos are created and transferred to the recipient clinic’s care, pregnancy and live birth outcomes are not systematically tracked, as many clinics perform frozen embryo transfers months or years later. We encourage you to discuss expected pregnancy rates directly with your treating physician.
Non-Identified or Open ID
Choose from non-identified or open ID donations based on the donor’s preferences, which are listed directly on her profile.
Non-identifying: Only non-identifying information is shared. You view the donor’s profile through our online database.
Open ID: The donor is willing to release identifying information to any donor-conceived individual aged 18 or older upon request.
Please note: With advancements in commercial genetic testing, we counsel all parties that permanent anonymity cannot be guaranteed, regardless of donation type.

Clinical Excellence
Donor Nexus holds a California Tissue Bank license and operates an FDA-accredited egg bank, which means we are held to the same federal standards as major clinical laboratories, not just agency standards. Most agencies act as brokers between you and outside labs. We run ours. That is why our clinical protocols go deep, and our understanding of what can go wrong and how to prevent it is at a level most agencies simply cannot match.
Worldwide Shipping Through Cryoport
Through our partnership with Cryoport, the leading provider of temperature-controlled IVF shipping, we ship frozen donor eggs to fertility clinics worldwide. You have up to 6 months from the date you secure your eggs to arrange shipment to your clinic.
How the Frozen Egg Bank Works
1. Select a Donor Profile
Browse our database to view available frozen egg profiles. Once you have narrowed down your search or have questions, contact our team to discuss options and next steps.
2. We Ship the Eggs to Your Clinic
After paperwork and payment are complete, we coordinate the shipment of frozen eggs to your designated fertility clinic through Cryoport’s temperature-controlled logistics. Shipping typically takes up to 4 weeks, depending on lab availability on both ends.
3. Begin Your IVF Cycle
Once the eggs arrive at your clinic, your medical team takes it from there. We remain available if you need anything from our end.
How the Eggs Are Frozen
All eggs in the Donor Nexus Frozen Egg Bank are preserved through vitrification, the most advanced egg freezing technique available today. Vitrification rapidly reduces the egg’s temperature, transforming it from a liquid state to a vitreous (glass-like) state almost instantly. This process prevents the formation of ice crystals that can damage cell structure, which was a risk with older, slower freezing methods.
Vitrified eggs are stored at -196°C (-320°F), a temperature at which all metabolic activity stops. The eggs remain in this stable state until they are warmed at your fertility clinic.
Where the Eggs Are Retrieved and Stored
All egg banking retrievals and vitrification are performed by the experienced team at HRC Fertility in Southern California. HRC has been working with vitrification since its introduction and is one of the leading clinics in egg freezing and warming. Their retrieval site exceeds the standards set by the FDA, the College of American Pathologists (CAP), and the California State Health Department Licensing Program.
“As a donor-first egg bank, we take pride in offering a personalized, compassionate approach to egg donation. Our goal is to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible while providing exceptional care and support tailored to the unique needs of our families and donors.”

Frozen Egg Bank FAQ
Cohorts generally include six eggs. Some donors may have additional eggs available for an additional cost.
In most cases, yes. The Fresh Matching Program generally costs more but may offer more eggs and more long-term family-building potential. The best option depends on your goals, timeline, and budget. Our team can walk you through the differences.
Once funds and your contract are complete, we arrange shipment to your clinic. From there, you coordinate directly with your fertility clinic. The process from payment to transfer typically takes 4 to 6 weeks.
Our Blastocyst Embryo Guarantee covers frozen egg cohorts. If at least one blastocyst suitable for transfer, freeze, or biopsy is not achieved by day 7 (and semen analysis criteria are met), you may qualify for a replacement cohort. See the Guarantee section above for full details.
If you would like to use eggs from a donor who has not been screened for a specific gene that the sperm provider carries, we may be able to coordinate additional carrier screening with the donor, provided she is willing. The intended parent(s) cover the cost of testing plus applicable fees. Contact our team for details.
Yes, we've done it before. New York requires a specific tissue license, so your clinic would need to apply for a state waiver.
