Donor Egg Success Rates
Transparent outcome statistics across all three programs: Fresh Matching Program, Frozen Egg Bank, and Donor Embryo Program.
Our Donor Egg Statistics and Outcomes
Since our founding in 2012, Donor Nexus has completed over 1,000 egg retrievals and built one of the most trusted donor programs in the country. The statistics below reflect outcomes from our three core programs. Where outcome data is incomplete, a common challenge in third-party reproduction, we note it transparently so you can make fully informed decisions.

Fresh Matching Program
Donor Retrieval at Your Clinic | Data: 2012–2025 | Updated 2026
In our Fresh Matching Program, your selected donor travels directly to your IVF clinic for an egg retrieval. These statistics reflect donor egg production — the foundation of every successful outcome.
Donor Egg Production Averages
Average Eggs Retrieved Per Donor (eggs per retrieval): 28.9
Average Mature (MII) Eggs (eggs ready for fertilization): 22.6
Average Eggs Successfully Fertilized (via ICSI): 18.2
Average PGT-A Normal Embryos (euploid embryos [where PGT performed]: 7.2
Pregnancy and Live Birth Rates
Because our fresh cycles take place at your own clinic, pregnancy and live birth data is held by your treating physician and is not systematically reported back to us. Outcomes will vary based on your clinic’s protocols, uterine factors, and embryo quality. We recommend asking your clinic for their own fresh donor egg pregnancy rates, which is the most relevant benchmark for your individual situation.
Frozen Egg Bank
Frozen Egg Lots — Shipped Worldwide | Per standard lot of eggs, 2012–2025 | Updated 2026
Our Frozen Egg Bank offers pre-screened, ready-to-ship egg lots. The following metrics reflect outcomes from the moment frozen eggs arrive at the recipient clinic through the creation of blastocyst embryos.
Egg Thaw and Fertilization
Egg Survival Rate After Thaw (of all eggs thawed): 90.7%
Fertilization Rate of Survived Eggs (ICSI fertilization): 83.1%
Blastocyst Embryo Development
The percentages below reflect what patients experienced after a standard lot of frozen eggs was thawed, fertilized, and cultured to the blastocyst stage.
Patients Who Obtained 1+ Blastocyst (at least one viable embryo): 81.1%
Patients Who Obtained 2+ Blastocysts (two or more embryos for transfer/storage): 60.5%
About These Statistics
Donor Nexus Egg Bank outcome tracking focuses on the embryo creation phase. Once embryos are created and transferred to the recipient clinic’s care, pregnancy and live birth outcomes are not systematically tracked — as many clinics perform frozen embryo transfers months or years later. We encourage you to discuss expected pregnancy rates directly with your treating physician.
Donor Embryo Program
Frozen Embryo Transfer | Data: 2012–2025 | Updated 2026
Our Donor Embryo Program offers frozen embryos (donated by families who have completed their own IVF journeys for frozen embryo transfer (FET). We have helped families welcome babies through this program since 2012.
Transfer Outcomes (FET Cycles With Known Results)
Positive Beta (Clinical Pregnancy Rate): 69.5%
Ongoing Pregnancy / Confirmed Delivery Rate: 49.7%
Embryo quality and recipient uterine health significantly influence outcomes.
A Note on Data Completeness
Third-party reproduction involves multiple independent clinics, specialists, and care timelines. Outcome data is not always reported back to us — particularly for frozen embryo transfer cycles that may occur long after our involvement concludes. We report only what we have verified, and we are transparent about gaps. We believe this honest approach serves you better than inflated statistics. If you have questions about our outcomes or what they mean for your specific situation, our team is happy to walk you through it.
